Carmen "Mami Carmen" Acosta, 87, of Reisterstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Genesis Eldercare, Randallstown, MD. Born December 24, 1927 in Abancay, Peru, she was the daughter of the late Zoilo and Ines (Rios) Acosta.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, Reisterstown. Mami Carmen enjoyed traveling and was very family oriented.

Surviving are her son, Luis Miguel Osnayo of Towson, MD; daughter, Julia Osnayo of Toronto, Canada; granddaughter, Denise Tasayco of Baltimore, MD; 6 other grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm at the Eline Funeral Home with Rev. Ebenezer Afful officiating. Interment will be private.
