Obituary for Frederick William Rogge

Frederick William Rogge, 77, of Abingdon, died on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born November 9, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Max and Catherine (Olshinsky) Rogge. He was the husband of Margaret Joan Rogge of Westminster.

He served in the National Guard and prior to retirement, he had been an electrician. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #24 and had attended Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his former wife, Dorothy M. Rogge of Finksburg, MD; daughter, Julie Elizabeth Holmes of Abingdon, MD; granddaughters, Nikki Alexis Holmes of Abingdon, MD, Maria Nightingale of PA; grandson, Skylar Nightingale of Finksburg, MD; stepsons, Mark Agostine of Hampstead, MD, Wayne Agostine of Hampstead, MD.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2015, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Martha Clementson officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, 291 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
