Duane Revoir Ather, 84, of Westminster formerly of Reisterstown, passed away on November 8, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Westminster. He was born on August 7, 1929 in Washington County, Vermont to the late Merton J. and Annie G. Revoir Ather. He was married to Jean C. Ather.
He was retired from the Baltimore Sun Newspaper. He was a printer. He enjoyed swimming, shooting pool and his dog.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by sons Mark S. Ather and his wife JoAnn of Catonsville, Tracy L. Ather and his wife Aileen M. of Westminster and R. Lee Townsend and his companion Kitten M. Chavis of Baltimore; grandchildren Rachel, Ian, Nicole, Holly, Keram, Emily and Daniel; great grandchildren Jadalyn and Marrina.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road Reisterstown, MD on Monday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held on Tuesday 12:30pm at the funeral home. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park.
