Betty May Catlett nee Griffin passed away on October 7th, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born in Baltimore on January 24th, 1934 to the late Clarence Oliver Griffin and Gladys Elizabeth Griffin nee Morton. She is survived by her husband of fifty nine years Harold Lloyd Catlett of Baltimore, son Ronald Griffin of Howard County, son Harold Catlett, Jr. of Owings Mills, daughter Angela Leone of Littlestown, PA, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Charles Griffin, sisters Gloria Earket and Muriel Griffin and predeceased by brother Clarence Griffin, Jr.

Betty was a graduate of Douglas High School in Baltimore and the University of Maryland Practical Nursing School. She worked as a nurse for many years at Sinai Hospital and the Spring Grove Hospital Center. Betty loved to travel and visited many locations in the US, Canada and the Caribbean. Mostly Betty enjoyed spending time with family.
