John and I didn\'t grow up together. We were adopted out to different families. We met later in life and I am so thankful we did. I call John "Phil". When Phil and I first talked it was like I attached myself to a rocket. He was so full of passionate life - everything excited him. When we first met, when Phil and Becca first came to visit me, I met them at the airport, stepped out of the car and my heart shot up into my throat. I was so overcome because for the first time in my 50+ years I was meeting someone I belonged to and who belonged to me. Thank you Phil (and Becca) for reaching out, and thank you Jackie as well for all the research into our family lineage and sending it to me. I\'m so sorry I missed seeing you, Phil. I love you. Another new adventure for you. Carry on. Love, Kris

My strong but gentle giant ! You were such a stubborn fighter...right to the end. You touched my life, and I thank you for that. What wonderful stories and conversations we have had over the years. It was indeed my pleasure to have known you. My life is richer because you were in it. I have been truely blessed....thank you!

I may not have gotten the pleasure to know you for very long or as well as I would have liked, but you had a tremendous impact on me that will not be forgotten.
